Is CambodiaDaily.com blocked on certain ISPs in Cambodia?
I'm wondering how many of you in Cambodia can access cambodiadaily.com and what your internet service provider is.
I have reason to believe it is blocked on certain ISPs, including MekongNet, and I'm wondering how extensive the blocking is.
If you go to whatismyipaddress.com from your home wifi, your cellular data, or any coffee shop/bar wifi, it will tell you your ISP.
Could you folks who are in Cambodia do me a favor and try to access CambodiaDaily.com, then report back here whether you can access the site and what your ISP is?
Thanks.

Sitting at a Riverside restaurant and cambodiadaily.com is blocked on the restaurant WiFi,provided by S.I Group (SINET). When I switch over to Smart 3G I can access it fine.

Ah, the Cambodia Daily. You just reminded me that we need to change a story on that Canadian journalist who was charged over the election interviews, as he says he was "never arrested," even though local news sources say he was. He's been pestering me about it, and I guess we'll edit it to what he claims, as it correlates with what the Cambodia Daily and Phnom Penh Post reported about him.
Let me get on that...

It's not blocked on any of the providers I use, Opennet at home, Cellcard on mobile, or whatever the one I use in work is. Their database of old stories are totally accessible now which is great, the new front page stuff is all from foreign outlets like RFA, Reuters etc now.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Nor on any of my myriad connections. I think MIG's has him marked.John Bingham wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 9:16 pm It's not blocked on any of the providers I use, Opennet at home, Cellcard on mobile, or whatever the one I use in work is.
