interetsing about one of the founding members here

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

He and I have spoken via PMs here. His emails hadn't come through (and seem to still not be). There had been a miscommunication between the wife and I on if she'd sent the last of the payments... which has now been rectified and all is well.

Of note, this is the first time in over 10 years of usage I've ever had any issues with gmail... and it's weird. Other people's emails seem to be working fine.

That's a gobshite way of dealing with the perceived problem - good to see the OP (on 440) didn't get the traction he was hoping for.

I honestly don't think he was hoping for any kind of slagging, he was just trying to figure out how to reach me and wasn't aware I wasn't on there any more. We're actually semi-buddies and try to hang out when in town at the same time... he just got weirded out by me not replying to his emails on it, and not contacting him about it and was trying to reach out. Since my account on there was deleted (should have given away that i'm not on there) he couldn't send me a PM.

This is one example of why I feel banned users should still have access to read their PMs... and perhaps an autoresponder notifying the sender that the user is banned and may not be able to reply even if they can read them.
