For once, just for this visa topic, could we keep on topic ? It is already confusing enough.

jeez its so unfair. We allow Asians to travel freely to Europe with visa on arrival and unlimited border hops.
Oops no we don't. We make them dance for a visa that they have to sign for in blood and demand they have more money that bill gates before we even let them on the plane.
The best passport for travelling is Singapore. Number 3 is south Korea. Number 4 Japan. Number 6 Malaysia.
nope
( dont ya hate it when u dont use duck duck go and post fake news?) :beer3:
1. Germany, 177 countries can be visited without a visa
2. Singapore, 176
=3. Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Sweden, the U.K., 175
=4. Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, 174
=5. Ireland, Portugal, South Korea, United States, 173

And the UK is about to lose some of those countries if they are not careful. Some visa waivers are for members of the G8 , rather than specific countries per se and Britain is about to drop off both of them courtesy of Brexit. I think a few "shithole" countries are rather likely to start asking for visa from the USA a s well :-)

OK, so back on topic.
My original post was all about getting a 1yr visa when I have no work permit and do not work in Cambodia, but are married to a Khmer lady under Khmer law.

After some additional hunting around Mrs Kennzo found the rest of the Khmer wedding documents so we went to see 'CALL KIM'

A great lady and very knowledgeable, we submitted the following to her and the 1yr visa is now processing (completion in 5 working days).

- full set Khmer wedding documents
- my UK passport
- copy of wife's family book
- copy of wife's ID Card
- copy of wife's passport (including UK visas from past visits)
- $290

Once again thanks to PSD for the initial point in the right direction, I owe you one man!
Collecting completed passport with visa next Thursday.

I'll post separately here with CALL KIM's contact details for anyone who needs assistance on visa/licenses, etc. I highly recommend her.

Thank you

I tend to sleep in the nude. Which isn't a bad thing except for maybe on those long flights.
