When i asked to see the autoclave the guy took me to another room and showed me a small toaster oven that they use to sterilize the ink reservoir and needles. I have plenty of tattoos, all from my home country, and will not be getting one done in Cambodia.

Go to Thailand.
As stated I have had a half sleeve done with no complications at all.
If you want to roll the dice with your health, that's your choice.....

According to: http://majestictattoonyc.com/signs-tatt ... afe-clean/

"Some tattoo studios may use makeshift autoclaves such as pressure cookers and toaster ovens. This is not acceptable because only an autoclave can reach the proper temperature and maintain the right conditions for sterilization. Any other makeshift equipment is a big risk."

according to http://www.imnoangelink.com/catalog/ind ... &Itemid=66

"The only acceptable method of sterilization is AUTOCLAVE STERILIZATION.
Current medical guidelines as of 1994 are as follows:
273 degrees or higher
minimum 15 pounds of pressure
55 minutes cold start (or 45 minutes with hot start).

NO OTHER METHOD, TIME, OR TEMPERATURE IS ACCEPTABLE, per medical guidelines. DRY HEAT, TOASTER OVENS, OR PRESSURE COOKERS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE!"
