Road improvements

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I was told wedding/funeral/any-random-event tents were not allowed to spill on the main roads like Monivong, Norodom, Mao Tse Toung etc.?
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes

Well they had huge tents up near monument a couple of weeks ago. I moaned about 3 in my street 1 after the other and apparently the deal is they can put up the tent for one day. All three went up about 5am and came down following day around 3. 2 of them blocked the entrance to my place and they had to remove a side panel so I could drive in and out at the end of the tent! A funeral tent completely blocked 113 up by sihanouk around same time for 3 days and nights.
