brother in law brought a 2001 Lexus suv ( 3 ltrs engine) for $10,500 lots of them around at that price but their gas eaters.. States 18 miles/gallon
1 Gallon [Fluid, US] = 3.7854118 Liters....... 4.76 kms/ltrs....
Looked at what they go for in Edmunds in the states....

2001 Lexus RX 300
Base | 91,645 miles
List price: $8,491

2001 Lexus RX 300
Base | 202,000 miles
List price: $4,775

now my 2000 honda civic (1.8 ltrs engine) gets average 12 kms/ltrs :beer3:

And Khmers will think you are cool and will always get out of your way
You're cool with a LX570

that is if you are trying to park at the anti corruption unit.
racing around Phnom Penh slums you are still cool with RX300

My Prius got 46mpg yesterday with my heavyfooted driving from Kampot to PP. That is 19.5 km per litre.

I have had the suspension raised with nylon bushes so it handles better and is better off road with a similar ground clearance to a Camry.

My smelly diesel Volkswagen used to do 60 on a run in Europe. Surprised all the dirty diesels have not started turning up here now the west has decided they are too polluting
