A Phnong Ethnic Minority Woman Burned Her House Last Night

Modolkiri: Two houses belonging to a Phong ethnic minority woman were burned on April 26,2016 at Domrey Jorn village, Rongmonea Krongsen Monrom comune, Rothanakiri.

According to the source, the houses were burned buy the house owner, a Phnong ethnic minority woman. She event stopped others from extinguishing, running to hack those helpers without reasons, adding the source.

This ethnic minority woman's name is Myas Ye, 30, a widow woman known to have a mental problem. Since the villagers could do nothing, they called the firefighter for an intervention, but the houses were already burned before they came.

Mr Svay SomAng, Modolkiri provincial governor told the report that, he had tried his best to inform to the firefighter for an intervention but since the distance was too far they were not on time for help. However, Modolkiri Red Cross team are going to offer humanitarian donation to the victim family.
