STUNG TRENG - A journalist, identified as Van Samnang, was arrested for selling fake gold rings to a gold buyer at Stung Treng market.
The owner bought the rings but at the same time notified police they were likely fake and led officers to the suspect.
“Mr Samnang was sent to the provincial court on Tuesday and charged with fraud,” Mr Vuthy said. “The court ordered him to be detained at the provincial prison.”
