Hua Hin police have arrested two Cambodian ladyboys and their Cambodian accomplice for allegedly having snatched gold necklaces from foreign tourists in the popular seaside town in Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Hua Hin police chief Pol Colonel Sitinthechair Sroatumishairyandsmall held a press conference on Saturday to announce the arrest of Kongluan, 25, Ngaporn, 26, and another Cambodian man, Touchwon, 24.Guess he/she/it will have to change name to Touchlost

Police seized several gold necklaces from them.

Sitinthechair said the Hua Hin police station had received complaints from several western tourists that two Cambodian ladyboys approached and spoke with them before snatching their gold necklaces and fleeing.

Sitthichai said police learned that the two ladyboys let Touchwon, who is a sex worker in Hua Hin, keep the necklaces for them and later sold the necklaces and shared the money.

He said they admitted to preying on western tourists in Pattaya before they fled to Hua Hin.

Cambodian lady boy snatch thief gang rounded up in Hua Hin

A Cambodian gang responsible for "countless" snatch thefts in Hua Hin and Pattaya has been arrested.



Led by a lady boy called Kong Loeun, 25, the team would approach tourists to chat them up and make suggestive comments before grabbing gold necklaces.



Another lady boy called Ngaporn, 26, was also arrested along with male sex worker Tuch Vorn, 24, who received the stolen goods.



Earlier French national Charles Jaussoin had fingered the gang.



NewTV said that much evidence in the form of necklaces was found in a downtown Hua Hin hotel room. They said in their headline that the team were responsible for countless thefts mainly from tourists.



Kong Loeun, illegally in Thailand, admitted that the gang had been operating in Hua Hin and Pattaya before getting caught.
