End of an era - Charlie Harper’s sold

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Not a great loss really.
After Tony passed away it was never going to be the same and this is from someone who had more than one major disagreement/argument with Tony. Unfortunately T**** was snapped up by a Shark in a feeding frenzy and to cross metaphors it soon became obvious who was wagging the tail.
Service deteriorated and customers were looked on as an in-convenience and the residents treated like s***. Still visiting daily because friends are living there, if it could have been filmed in slo-mo it would have been a great watch in the car crash section on You tube. Sorry for the long term residents.
I wish T**** the best for the future by fear it is a slow road to unhappiness and regret.
But hey what the F*** do I know just a cynical old bastard that is watchingfrom the sidelines.

They are in shit creek without a paddle in phnom penh. All the Chinese money has gone to snooky and they cannot sell any condos. One new one is now renting at 50% what they asked from me six months ago. That's what happens when you put all your eggs in 1 basket. Chinese and Russians follow each other around like a plague of locusts

i can confirm that this is 100% bullshit

i asked tonys ex and she said "no!"

so unless she is lying then this is just another rumour

should it be "charlie harpers sold" or "charlie harper's bar sold"?
i get confused over apostrophe so may be wrong but them i am not a pro writer.

With due respect sir, are you living under a rock? When the invasion comes to PP? look at the skyline, look at Naga 2 look everywhere, the Chinese are already here in PP and building it all. Maybe when they come for Angkor Wat the Khmer's will wake up from their slumber in time to stop it. Selling the kids futures for a few dollars today. "rice today" mentality is still going strong from the top to the bottom

I'm pretty sure that PP in general will be spared because you only have Nagaworld. No other casinos. It certainly looks like there's more for them on the coast.
