Should I include the part where HE rode in on a white stallion waving a golden sword and told us we were the chosen ones meant to liberate the expat community from the evil forum overlords?

With the sale of K440 does this mean that the previously reached gentlemen's agreement is rendered null and void ? Since the last one was such a resounding success, as witnessed by the lack of interest in this thread, I think it is of the utmost importance that a replacement be agreed with the new owner.

Good point.Cowshed Cowboy wrote:With the sale of K440 does this mean that the previously reached gentlemen's agreement is rendered null and void ? However, I have faith that the new owner will be level-headed individual, and no such agreements will even need to be made.
That said, the Dragon and I are some of the most easy going and reasonable gentleman you'll ever come across, so if we need to discuss things with the new guy, I'm sure it will be a win-win for all parties.
And I love parties, so the more parties the merrier!

Re: CEO and Khmer440 reach a GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT!
Does the "gentlemen's agreement" give you "treaty rights" to Block the Sale of K440 ?
Not that you'd want to, but could make for interesting verbal cannon fodder.
A "Treaty", I might add that was violated several times. Open the cannon doors and Fire Away.
I'll start, "Naa, na naaa, na naa.", "I would not even Fart in your general direction."

I am not comfortable with all this putting KiR on a pedestal or the opposite. I think it can be explained in for simplistic terms:

Re: CEO and Khmer440 reach a GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT!
Not surprising to see the lonely little tyrant keeping to form. In a thread about a horrific news story regarding an apparent murder-suicide, taking the life of a 22 year old local girl, pathetic KiR feels the continual need to lash out at a CEO founder:
And our resident, hypocritical "enough with the K440 bashing, let it go" brigade say nothing there.Re: Murder at GSM

At least it isn't Gonk being beaten senseless by ladyboys at GSM. Again.andyinasia wrote: News coming in of a husband who shot his wife dead then turned the gun on himself at 4.40 pm this afternoon.
Dunno if it's Khmer-on-Khmer or foreigner involved.

Help me out here, is that irony, or hypocrisy?Soi Dog wrote:And our resident, hypocritical "enough with the K440 bashing, let it go" brigade say nothing there.

I always think of irony as being when you intend for one outcome to occur, but the opposite happens. Does that better apply here? I'm sure Vlad can enlighten me further on my grammatical errors.StroppyChops wrote:Help me out here, is that irony, or hypocrisy?Soi Dog wrote:And our resident, hypocritical "enough with the K440 bashing, let it go" brigade say nothing there.
