Cryptocurrency in Cambodia
Is anyone here dealing with cryptocurrency? Popular exchanges like Coinbase and Gemini are not available in Cambodia and thus make buying and selling cryptocurrency difficult. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it? Bitcoin Cambodia seems to be the only local exchange(?) there is, and registration is currently disabled.

Yes that was my referral link. If you're looking for other exchanges, I currently also have accounts with Bitstamp, Spectrocoin and BTCdirect. They work well from Cambodia (I wont post my referral links since you seem to be offended by it lol)
just noise, white noise

Have any of you transferred $ from your wallet to your Cambodian bank account recently?

No. If someone has a good tip for an exchange that pays out directly to a Cambodian bank account please enlighten me. The exchanges I mentioned work well from cambodia but I still have to cash out to my offshore accounts first. But looking at the latest cambodian government statements about cryptocurrencies I don't think banks here will accept crypto related transactions any time soon.Username Taken wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2018 9:40 pm Have any of you transferred $ from your wallet to your Cambodian bank account recently?

Re: Cryptocurrency in Cambodia
CEX.IO claims to be able to cash out into a credit card, no idea how that works. Bank account transfers are 5k USD minimum and they do have Cambodia listed in the drop down menu, never tried it tho as I use my Canadian account. Credit cards are $20 minimum.Username Taken wrote:Have any of you transferred $ from your wallet to your Cambodian bank account recently?
