Unpleasant surprise in Phnom Penh tuktuk
PHNOM PENH 25 December 2017
- A volleyball player got a nasty surprise when he tried to wake up a tuktuk driver to take him home after a match at the volleyball court near Freedom Park, Phnom Penh. After he tried and failed to shake the driver awake, he realised the man must be dead.
The deceased was identified as a 27 year old man from Prey Veng province who was living in his tuktuk. The cause of death was given as a heart attack and the body was handed over to the family for funeral rites.

Cambodia is 99th in the world. Turkmenistan is number 1 for heart attacks. The top 10 are all former Soviet Union.

Tuk tuk drivers can take some credit for the fact that Cambodia is number 11 in the world for fatal drug overdoses.

I see on the same site that Syria is 171st out of 172 countries for death by suicide.
