Re: Christmas Dinner in Sihanoukville
AFAIK Roy's still there, but Gary is now running the restaurant. He's changed a few things, doing a good job attracting more customers from what I can see. ie. the "Snooky Steak House". It's a great location with lots of potential now that Makara St has been widened and sealed, other businesses are moving in and the area is looking more prosperous.peppermintpaddy wrote:what's happened to Roy?....has he sold up?lurcio wrote:Username Taken wrote:^^ Thanks, Jamie. Got it.
btw, you mean, "if youre coming from golden lions, when you get to the first junction where the cops are always sitting".
^ At the first set of traffic lights turn left and it is about 50m before the road does a 90 degree turn to the right
A professional English chef called Gary runs the place - 'nice bloke' from Jersey or Guernsey or somewhere in the Channel Islands if I remember correct
Sorry - hungover today
Once upon a time, there was a Snooky's tuktuk for customers, but I think that's long gone ?

The move to Cambodia lady has done a subjective list. I only know SO because my dad ate there once, said it wasn't great and the portions very small. Otherwise I guess it's pot luck:

Think the only Christmas dinner in Snooky will be peking duck and noodles but you cannot go. Only Chinese allowed

We are going to Mick and Craig’s for $15 dinner. Their roast is awesome!
