Laos man arrested at the border with 10,000 drug tabs

On the afternoon of 15 Dec, Stung Treng Provincial Commander of the Gendarmerie learned that the special military gendarmerie seize a Laotian drug trafficking leader and seized over 10,000 tablets of drugs while on an operation on the Laotian-Cambodian border.

According to the Commander, this operation was carried out at the command of Sao Sokha, Deputy Commander-in-Chief and National Commander-in-Chief of the National Gendarmerie, with the assistance of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Stung Treng Provincial Court.

At present, the suspects and physical evidences were detained at the Gendarmerie Command in Stung Treng Province for the purpose of handling the case files and sending them to the provincial preliminary court for legal action.
