British couple reportedly did a runner from Kampot hostel.

Exactly. And when a Khmer or Thai tourists goes abroad and gets robbed or beaten up, they whine and cry like babies but when one of us gets ripped off or mugged here they say..."Oh well, shit happens". I call it karma altho I'm not condoning what this couple did, of course.
