^^"Nanford trio released without charge" up there.that genius wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 6:10 pmCould you perhaps post some evidence for your rather flattering evaluation of this undoubtedly wonderful individual?cptrelentless wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2017 6:08 pm It sounds more like he was just happy to take some coin to rent out his shitty hotel, no questions asked. If they dropped the brothel charges they obviously couldn't find evidence he knew what was going on. Maybe he came for the cheap and plentiful drugs.

Manor House is quite the opposite to the deceased's Nanford Guesthouse. On Agoda it advertises itself as "Accommodating only guests who are 18 years and over, this gay/straight-friendly boutique is centrally located...".CEOCambodiaNews wrote:
Manor House is a very elegant small boutique hotel. Not at all the usual heart attack environment.
It was one of the first "gay friendly" hotels in the city.

He won t be missed in either his personal nor his professional life. It's a shame he wasn t in accommodations more similar to what he rented out back home.

Re: 53yo British man found dead in Phnom Penh hotel room.
I'm speculating here, and it may be a total coincidence that a man mixed up in a pedophile ring in the UK comes to visit Cambodia, but it smells bad that a man who allowed children to be raped and beaten in his guesthouse over a period of eight years turns up dead in Phnom Penh of all places. Why Cambodia ?
Sure, there’s no link between Nanford Guesthouse and Phnom Penh, except that the sexual exploitation of minors is something that has occurred and does occur in both places. That is fact. The rest is speculation.
I know the deceased was released without charges for allowing child prostitution - and therefore is legally innocent - but the Nanford guest house was repeatedly cited as a place used for child sex abuse in the trial of the child sexgang, and this went on for eight years.
It is very hard to believe that the Cronins didn't notice that children were getting beaten up and raped and sold as prostitutes in their guesthouse, when their guests were calling the police:

So, is it sheer coincidence that Bart Cronin was in Cambodia when he died ? We'll probably never know.
It is bad to speak ill of the dead, but in this case I'm making an exception. What he did or didn't do in Oxford is enough for me.

The GuardianAnother girl – known in court as Girl C – was found in 2006 in the basement of the Nanford guest house in Oxford distressed, crying and shaking. She told police she had been drugged, raped and smacked in the face repeatedly. But the investigation was dropped when the girl withdrew her complaint…
