Better 'wipe' those hard drives!
Re: Better 'wipe' those hard drives!
Well if the video is the Thai Kings third wife wearing a black G-string and singing happy birthday to the royal couple's beloved pet poodle, Fufu, you could be in deep shit.John Bingham wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2017 8:35 pmThis is a very good point. Some countries have very draconian laws and I certainly wouldn't want them to find my stored poodle party video or tattooed wifebeater shirt on runway photos on my drives.Kuroneko wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2017 5:14 pm
The web surfing you do could be perfectly legal and above board in your own country, but if you then take your machine to Thailand for example and for some reason it is examined by authorities the images retained on your machine from your surfing in your own country could then incriminate you.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Factory reset won't completely erase your data on Android phone, the data can still be recovered by some data recovery tools. If you want to wipe your Android without recovery, the best way will be erasing it with a professional Android data eraser.
Re: Better 'wipe' those hard drives!
Yes I covered that earlier in the post.
Kuroneko wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 1:32 pmWont help as the searched material can be still on the smart phone/tablet, and factory reset will not eliminate it. You need one of the apps available to wipe your data, like Safewiper, this is one option to clean your phone/tablet, and has options for android and mac.
SafeWiper for Android is a powerful and compact data wiping software that allows users to destroy all data on Android phones and tablets completely. It's a disk drive sanitizing tool and partition eraser utility, DoD 5220.22 M compliant. Support erasing 20+ type of files like messages, contacts, photos, call history, notes, videos and more.
See why factory reset won't delete everything on Andriod." https://www.safewiper.com/tutorials/fac ... droid.html
