valentines day is already firmly entrenched, halloween.
they won't allow May Day- that is for commies. same way the yanks moved labor day off the date- confuses the international socialists.
what other hols could they add? they already have all the solar and lunar marks well covered with their own and the chinese calendar

Christmas is much more of a big deal than it used to be, 10-12 years ago there were very few decorations anywhere and it only seemed to be celebrated in primary schools by dancing to Khmer pop and throwing talcum powder everywhere. It doesn't have any religious slant to it here.

Surely the Russians got it here first? Why don't they celebrate Russian Christmas? They still have our missing 15 days.
