Major Cineplex (Aeon Mall Cinema) Pricing in Phnom Penh, Cambodia?

Post by david wooderson »

I was hoping one of you could give me some info on the new cinema complex at Aeon. I could not find their pricing structure anywhere on the website (http://majorcineplex.com.kh/cinema/). Do they have any early bird/late owl type promotions?

They look great, and the VIP Theater looks really nice but I don't feel like braving the crowds/traffic if the tickets are 3-4x the other guys!

I went last month, ticket was $6 per person and you have to purchase the 3D glasses for $1 per pair. They have glasses for near-sighted people for a bit more bucks.
VIP seating hall was around $15 per person, iirc.
There was no last showtime discount and the last showtimes are around 8.30-9.20pm

I assume you are supposed to return them to get your dollar back?

If they are doing the western thing, you buy a pair and you keep 'em, you don't need to buy them again for the next movie.

yeah, SC is correct. you just buy them for a buck and then can bring them next time... i went today and they seem to have lowered their prices. $3 for 2D and $4 for 3D (mon-thur) and +$1 for weekends (fri-sun & holidays). they are MUCH better than legend or platinum - seriously comfortable seats w/ much better sound & picture... i can't imagine ever going back to one of the other places.

Coolio. In Legend Cinema you're allowed to return them for a full refund.
