Murdered woman discovered in Phnom Penh guesthouse

PHNOM PENH - A woman's body was discovered lifeless on a bed in Ponleu Pich Guesthouse at 43B3, Street 86, 7, Sangkat Sras Chork, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
According to the owner of the guesthouse, the Cambodian couple, a woman aged about 25 and a man about 35 years old, checked in at 9:42pm on 27 November. They both arrived on a black and white motorbike.
The next day, the man came downstairs alone and left on the motorbike. When the staff went to see if the woman was still there, they found her lying on the bed, dead. The police were called immediately, and they are at present conducting a murder investigation with the missing man as chief suspect.

Leaving a dead girl on the bed is bad manners. That Khmer guy who did that is impolite. A barang would have had the common courtesy to stuff the body under the bed.

The victim’s body was found naked, and stripped of all possessions, Mr Vichetr added.

Mr Vichetr said the suspect left the guesthouse at about 3.30am, alone on a motorbike.

“According to an examination of victim’s body, before her murder, she and the suspect had sex,” he said.

“After having sex, the suspect killed her by squeezing her throat. After the killing her, he stole her luxury phone and jewellery, and fled.”

Is this a short-time hotel? Or does the cleaner always have a poke round at 4am?

District police officer Leng Vichetr said the victim’s body was discovered by a cleaner at the Ponleu Pich Guesthouse at about 4am.

if they checked in at 9.30pm and he left at 3.30am im not sure they went for ST,
and yeah how do they know about her possessions that got stolen?
