BKKTRAPPER goes to Tokyo

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Nothing like rating a post negative when you don't have an answer. :)

Every single time it's the same: couldn't find a job, but Australia is great etc etc. Just stay in Austrian and lay bricks then. Why go abroad for a job when Australia is so amazing? This thread had a lot of potential, but it should have just been a travel thread instead of another one of his fruitless job search and complain about high costs threads.

Australian quality white wine is elegant and classy.
They pay 3$ AUD a glass in KoW

I get that 5 USD a bottle here in OZ.

That is a pointless argument! If you buy a glass of wine in an Australian restaurant, how much would you pay?
In a wine merchants shop in Cambodia you can pay 5 usd for a bottle too.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
