its the reduction in public disgust/negativity/judgement that's enabled people in general to be more open in discussion about mental health/depression/bi-polar which is a very good thing I feel.
I don't know on the drugs front but possibly self medication for the above in place of booze or as well as booze it often seems.
whilst ive never heard of this chap let alone his music its a sad state of affairs all the same.
I hope his family & friends recover
