Where can I buy house slippers
While I was traveling in the region with a visiting friend, my slipper-moccasins disappeared. No big deal except that, so far at least, I've had zero luck -- or even any promising leads -- replacing them. Any ideas? Is there, for example, a place where you can buy second-hand stuff left behind by other westerners? I don't think a retail shoe store will have them; I've tried a few.

I always wore slippers indoors when I lived in a colder climate, but here in Cambodia I would just suggest you wear a pair of socks. When they get dirty throw them and buy more. My kids buy them for 2500 r a pair .
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I'd do you one better and go barefoot, but the problem is the concrete floor. I put gel foot insoles in my slippers, and I don't get knee and ankle pain. So I kinda need the slippers.

I'm looking for slipper moccasins.
Re: Where can I buy house slippers
Could you just purchase them online, or are you looking for locally?
Re: Where can I buy house slippers
You can buy some decent leather loafers, vietnamese made are better than Chinese, in the nicer shoe shops and even occasionally in some market stalls. They occasionnally pop up on my FB feed from online PP stores aswell, so I'll keep an eye out. Not quite sure if those qualify though as mocassins can be quite varied. Put up a pic to better clarify.

I used to have a pair of these:
Check out martial arts supply stores. There was one on 19 behind the royal palace, just north of Sihanouk, but it may be gone now.

Thank you! What a great idea -- it never would have occurred to me to try martial arts stores! #justwhatdiscussionboardsaresupposedtodo

I saw some similar slippers in a second-hand Japanese store. They were still in the plastic. Maybe not big enough for westerners.
