Chinese Man Was Arrested and Accused of burglary

PHNOM PENH:
On 2 November 2017 at 7:00 pm, WANG JIA LE, a 24 year-old Chinese man was arrested and accused of burglary in a house at the corner of Street 604 and 311 in Brambey Village, Sangkat Beung Kok 2, Khan Toul Kork. The police found out that he stole$167 and 40 000 Riel and he was armed with some tools to help him break into the house. The accused lived in a rental house on Street 217, Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara.
The victim was SHI ZHENLING, a 35 year-old Chinese man lived at the first address. The police officers have investigated on the case and returned the lost belongings back to the owner.

Looks like a bunch of cut cables, 6 coaxial plugs or high end audio plugs - maybe for the amp/black box under the cash, a power adapter plug, and a cat5 plug. No idea why he wouldn't cut and steal them, probably just to annoy the victim.

How strange.
Why break into a Chinese guy's house to steal $167 and 40,000r ? There must be more to it. Maybe hes from a rival VoIP team on a sabotage mission.
And is that a drug test he's holding up ??
