Wedding without gold?
Wedding without gold?
Hello,
I'm going to marry my khmer fiancé next year.
His family wants to have a traditional khmer wedding.
I've seen videos and fotos of khmer weddings and ceremonies before. There is a lot of gold!
I have an unusual problem...
I cannot touch gold. I get sick of it. Same with silver and other metals. They make me feel sick, but gold is the worst, even when it just looks like gold. I can't touch it, else I puke..
Do you have any ideas what i can do for the wedding?
I can change the bracelets for wooden ones. But what do I do with the Belt? Can I just take a golden Fabric? Or would that be weird? Is there a way to use no belt? Or are there belts made from other materials like plastic or wood..
I'm really concerned. It will be the first time I'm in cambodia and meet his family. I want to seem as normal as possible.
Kind regards,
Céline

Gold is inert. Perhaps try some practitioner of magic if it affects you in any way.

'' even when it just looks like gold That should be so self revealing. Your answer lies within your question.Céline wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 7:49 am Hello,

You sound like you have deeper issues. Maybe confronting your irrational fear before you get married will lead to a happy healthier life together.
You can't go through life in Cambodia without going near gold. For God sake don't go to the Royal Palace!

Touching gold doesnt make me healthier or happier. My fiancé already accepted me with all my stigma.bangkokhooker wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 10:24 am You sound like you have deeper issues. Maybe confronting your irrational fear before you get married will lead to a happy healthier life together.

I'm already trying to touch some kind of metals, but im far away from gold. It's the worst. If i wait till i can touch gold i will be a grandma.
And as long as I see the gold but font have to touch it. its fine.

I meant metal that is painted golden. My brain tells me thats gold. But any other material thats not metal should be fine. But where do i get that?Luigi wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 9:53 am'' even when it just looks like gold That should be so self revealing.
