Couple in a car robbed and killed, children spared

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

26 October 2017
Kampong Thom provincial police have made three arrests over the brutal shooting murder and robbery of a husband and wife in front of their 12-year-old son and 15-year-old niece.

Provincial police chief Ouk Kosal identified the suspects as Ear Puon, 43, Bun Rong, 26, and Bun Chantha, 24, all rubber plantation workers in Kampong Cham province.

He identified the victims as Soeung Bronh, 41, and his wife Ly Chantheoun, 38. Mr Bronh was a businessman and the owner of a rubber plantation in the province.
The victims had been driving home from their plantation in Kraya commune with their son and niece when they were ambushed by four armed men at a quiet spot on Sunday.

Two of the suspects entered the vehicle and shot the victims, killing them immediately. The son and the niece cried out and the suspects threatened to kill them too.
The suspects then fled with money and jewellery worth more than $50,000, police said...

A whole lot of bling, nothing unusual. The problem was that the wrong kind of people found out. I'm surprised the kids weren't killed too.

They have to pay.

Shoot your boss? On a plantation?

That's like Django, man!

Also, someone shot a woman. Not cool ...

Let's hear their stories, then try them.

Orphan-makers ...
Melvin Udall: Never, never, interrupt me, okay?

Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.

Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.
