On another point, how many have never had a sock? I only had one and that was otof when kir permanent banned me. But when new owner came on they gave me back my name. Only reason to have a sock ,if ur bannef and cant stay away (bkktrappper)

I must say this is all very humorous.

Let me set the record straight on a few points.

1) Yes, I created the ID Marmite. Unapologetically. As the owner of a forum sometimes you want to be free to express yourself more forcefully than you feel able to as Admin, especially as it was well known around town who scobienz was in real life. This is precisely the reason why logos created TTM, a decision I was against in the early days but gradually saw made sense. Marmite's real identity wasn't exactly a secret - most main posters knew who was behind the account (an account what was created in Feb 2017, by the way), and it was even discussed in the mod forum, so TTM's faux outrage is a little weird.

2) I'm not aware of Marmite abusing anyone he considered a friend, although he might have poured scorn on TTM's mod decisions now and again. That's hardly surprising, and shouldn't come as a shock to TTM either because I regularly slapped him down in the mod forum for his over zealous modding and his habit of banning people at 4am (European time), presumably after a few glasses of wine. Usually I just sighed a heavy sigh, curse my decision to include him as a partner when I really had no need to, and reverse his bans.

3) I tell a lie: I've just looked at a few pages of Marmite posts and notice he was pretty insulting to TristanandIsolde and Fred Edwards, but - come on, who isn't? Oh, and Marmite once called Jamie Lambo 'a tattooed, punch drunk pygmy', but that was more out of affection for the pint-sized pugilist than anything else. I was proud of that one. He liked it at the time.

4) On the subject of sockpuppets, I have had one on CEO for a couple of years too, and have posted regularly. Is that a big deal? At the end of the day, there is no such person as scobienz, Marmite, bendix or my other CEO identity. They are all works of creation, like any internet persona. Oh, and I had one or two others on 440 which were pulled out now and again. I don't know many posters who don't - fuck me, even gavinmac has 2 or 3 IDs on 440 and a couple that I'm aware of here. vladimir, despite his protestations, had one or two he pulled out now and again also. KiR certainly had a few too.

5) Sadly, I am not Gibbon Arms, nor any of his fantastic other creations like Vic Vega etc etc. I have no idea where the Bonking Belgian Minion Lookalike got that fanciful idea from, and I like others urge him to publish the proof he claims to have. It's curious he says I am Gibbon Arms. For the last year or so he has posted regularly in the Mod Forum convinced that RobW was Gibbon Arms, and it was me who kept swatting him down, pointing out that RobW can barely post an image, let alone create those memes.

6) I am, however, flattered that people think I could be Gibbon Arms, my personal favourite poster for quite a while and certainly one with an incredible sense of humour. Come on, you dozy asshats. Those of you who know me in real life know I'm as funny as lung cancer, avoid socialising with anyone, and avoid talking to anyone unless it's necessary. As much as I would LOVE to have been behind Gibbon Arms, sadly I wasn't.

7) On Gibbon Arms, I should also point out that I banned him and his alter egos on many occasions, most notably when he posted the image of what looked like an underage Japanese girl in a porn pic. At the time I posted that that was the final straw and that he would be banned on site every other time he rejoined. Which, he was . . two or three times after. There are several exchanges between GA and his follow-up socks, where we have that banter before I reluctantly pull the trigger.

What else? oh yeah . . .

Of course I didn't hack the 440 bloody system. I know nothing about technology - it bores me to tears. I stayed away from the forum for a while because I was busy with life, and logged in in the middle of September and was amazed to see scobienz still had access to the mod and admin forums, and mod privileges. I don't know how that happened. It was kind of weird, reading the mod and admin forums after I had gone - a bit like Tom Sawyer coming back to listen in on his funeral. Who could resist that?

9) Should I have banned TTM / logos? Nahhh, of course not. It was capricious whim, and done for shit and giggles to send the curious little man into a paroxym of rage. I naturally knew they would know it was me - I know how the mod logs work. I must admit, though, it was fun being kept up to date with the howls of outrage being shouted and screamed by those who were party to them as it was going on, and the hapless attempts to get him back online. Do I regret it? Fuck no. Why would I? It's caused a lot of people a lot of laughs.

That's all.

Oh . one more thing. Do I have accounts which may or may not have mod privileges still? Who the fuck knows? I told Miggles I do, but who knows - I could be winding him up.

As for hacking, blocking etc. That’s the stuff a Khmer Times headline is made of. Something like former PP resident, Mr. Dickhead, lawyer, now practicing law at Dickhead & Dickhead, Scumberland, UK, hacked website he had just sold to new owner. Once this is out, it would be a nice post in the news section. It would also be in line with tradition dear to KIR and kept alive by his successor. Can’t wait to see someone swallowing his own medicine.

Which part of 'I didn't hack the site' didnt make sense?

After a couple of weeks of not logging into 440, I went on the site to see if I had any PMs. When I logged in I noticed I could access the mod and admin forums. I also noticed I had Mod powers, but not Admin powers. I do not know how this happened. On the evening of 31 August, the night before handover, I told Buscador to remove all my privileges and to assign them to Miggles. Clearly they screwed up or something. I don't know. I don't really care.

To be honest, I thought it a hoot. I also told two 440 mods and a few posters / friends about my access, just for the hell of it. Had i wanted to harm the site I could have done a lot worse - I've had server passwords, DDOS protection passwords, domain passwords all this time also. I will guarantee nobody thought to change them over until this week. Fuck me, they only changed the Khmer440 Twitter account password last night. I have no issue with 440, and wish them well.

The worst of it, all of this has little to do with technology alone. It is simply the issue of a bunch of sick people like KIR in the past and Bendix/Scobienz in the more recent using technology for their little games.

In a way, CEO is instrumental in flushing this dirt out into the open. Before CEO it would have taken 5 minutes or less for a cover-up. Those days are gone.

Alexandra has done nothing of the sort. She has explained how it might be done if people has the incredible IT skills she has. You do know Alexandra's core skills, I suppose? I have little doubt she could provide a similar tutorial on how to do the same thing on CEO. Doesnt CEO use the same forum software? If it can be done on 440 it can be done on CEO. I have no idea - it's been bad enough reading the bollocks on the main forums over the last few years without working out technical breakins to fucking PMs.
