5yo child dies from dodgy electrical installation, Sihanoukville.

A boy named Pheng Raksmey, 5, died of an electric shock in his home at Pou Thoeung commune, Bakteng commune, Preynop district, Preah Sihanouk province at about 3 pm on September 1, 2017. The victim's parents, Chan Sophak, 32, his wife, Nop Chanth, 26, rented a house. According to local officials, the case is under investigation by local officials.

That extension bar certainly looks like an accident no longer waiting to happen, missing/broken switches would be live. Surprised he didn't survive a belt, I've had plenty, are they hooked up to directly to a 32A box?

Another horrible accident with a child killed by faulty electrics.
The incident happened at 7 am on October 7, 2017 at Bek Chan Village, Veang Thkol Commune, Svay Teap District, Svay Rieng Province.
The details are not clear, but it seems that either the 6 year old child plugged a fan into a socket which electrocuted him, or he was electrocuted by the fan when it fell on him. Very sad either way. . RIP.
