Check out this site.
They charge you $20 to register for you. That's hilarious!
They get the questions from the embassy site. They send you the questions. You answer the questions. You send them the filled out questions. They read your answers and answer the questions on the embassy site for you.
WoW, talk about a pointless middleman.

Yeah I know . I should have included a "just messing with you" statement.General Mackevili wrote:I was living in SEasia for several years. Never registered. Never had problems.Jacobincambodia wrote:
You aren't registered with the embassy? I think your passport will be flagged on the way back to the States.
I've lived here for many years. Went to the embassy to renew a passport. No questions.
And I don't expect any hassle when going back next time either.
There isn't a rule that you have to register anywhere.

Ya lol I was first thinking you were serious about that. About not registering with the STEP program. I was like WTF?!
Of course I've never had a problem even after not registering for all my travels around the Middle East.
Travisa looking to make a quick $20, good to find visa requirements free though.

Yeah I thought it was just "suggested" so that if you go missing and people are looking for you the embassy knows you were here.General Mackevili wrote:I was living in SEasia for several years. Never registered. Never had problems.Jacobincambodia wrote:

Meanwhile in Chicago, a city that gets 50 million tourists a year, 82 people were shot in an 84-hour window around the 4th of July. Maybe we should kill more people down here to up tourism.General Mackevili wrote: Everybody stay calm. This is just part of Sihanoukville's "transition" period.

I'll register with the US embassy dweebs about the same time pigs sprout wings, shoot flames out their butts and fly.
As to the beach. Situational awareness. Just give up your valubles? That just encourages them. Like rats, a little slice n' dice on the leader and the rest go back to the provinces to plant rice. None of them are pros, just opportunists. Get drunk alone and stagger, your a target.

How many of those 82 people shot were tourists?
