Diary of a Filipino Blackjack Scammer "VICTIM" in Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I know google isn't the most reliable translator, but this made me laugh:

It's also possibly the worst looking Khmer script tattoo I've ever seen - have they filled in the vowel ិ?
Hahaha! Image Image Image

I'm guessing he's not a member of MENSA

Maybe we could ask him to teach UKJ English, although I'm not sure he'd take on false-hearted beginners

It must be tempting to write something like "I am a twat" or "Please scam me"... :D

Diego G. Aviles Acosta just started working at Mother Nature Cambodia.

I wonder if they read his piece. Would they read it like he joined in on an attempt to scam a lady out of money, or that he was a "victim" himself when his scam went wrong, or what?

I hate to give him a hard time, but how can you paint this any other way than he tried to help scam a lady and then shames the Filipino Blackjack Scammers when things don't go as he planned?

'Dam jet' translated as 'follow your heart' is a little overly romantic. It actually just means 'up to you'.

Does anyone have a link to the full story, ie the end? The link is gone dead in the original post. I had this scam ran on me in PP last December, to an absolute T. I wasn't taken for any money at all. I did get a home made Chicken Pad Thai out of it though... I'd just love to know the outcome for the guy involved... Thanks all....
