Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone - been reading all of the forums for a while now but figured I should introduce myself now as I've booked our flights to move to Phnom Penh in March. I'm originally from Australia but currently living in London until my visa finishes up early next year. I've been to Cambodia 3 times for extended periods but not since 2013 so I'm expecting it to have changed a fair bit, decided to make the move instead of moving back to boring Aust

Whatever its faults, Cambodia is not boring. And you're right, lots of changes happening fast here.
Enjoy.

Question; does this site have a missing persons forum, section, what ever...? Thank you. Not sure who will see this. New here and just getting a feel for things...My question is serious and sincere...Thanks again. Ted Davis.

Good Afternoon All
Have just joined the site after following the forums for a while now
I am a 57 retired guy from Australia
Visited Cambodia twice now in the past 8 months have spent around 3 months all told
Mainly in PP and Kampot
Thinking about relocating there before the end of the year
Am not looking for work
But am looking for advice re the best areas to rent in either PP or S/Ville
My budget would be $500 Per Month for rent
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

would you have your own form of transport or be relying on moto/tuk tuks/taxis to get around?

Re: Introduce Yourself
in Phnom Penh Tuk Tuks are reasonable, and good to get a regular guy
in Sihanoukville its a smaller place but Tuk Tuks will try and rip you off no end, unless you find a decent regular

Re: Introduce Yourself
Those Baja style tuk tuks and Taxis working for firms have become far cheaper now than regular tuk tuks, especially if you use an app.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 8:27 pm
