Police to crackdown on bag-snatchers

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Crackdown on bag snatching promised
11 September 2017
The National Police have unveiled plans to crack down on robberies and bag snatching. National Police Chief Neth Savoeun on Friday led a meeting at the Interior Ministry in which he announced the crackdown.

After the meeting, spokesman Kirth Chantharith said bag snatching continued to plague the city.
“These cases, although not armed robbery or murder, are still dangerous,” he said.
“Some victims get pulled off their bikes, breaking their legs or arms, so we must crack down on this. The National Police has to set up a plan to solve this problem.”

According to Mr Chantharith, plans to beef up security in the city during the Pchum Ben festival were also discussed during Friday’s meeting.

We have a lot of phone thieves here in north london, they use mopeds. I am going to design a phone that has an explosive in it, as soon as it is snatched you just activate it and the bastard gets his hand blown off. A few weeks of people getting their hands blown off will solve the problem

That's a great idea. Was once going to think about fitting a remote controlled brake to the front of my motorbike. Hoping the thieves would go over the handlebars and break their necks. Unfortunately the Liberal luvvies in UK have made sure the thieves have more rights and I would get a bigger sentence than them.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I'm sure the police will come up with a plan.
These things take time. First thing to do is to notice that there is a problem. Second thing is to announce that something will be done. After that, it gets complicated.
In the meantime, there's the traditional method of dealing with them. :mob:
