well, good. Lamest thing I ever went to. I thought the full moon party was actually a thing, but a bunch of crappy beachfront bars all competing with crappy opposing music does not a party make.

Hey, can you tell me if all the parties will be cancelled or just the full moon? the rest of the parties on the beach and bars will be like always? in ko phangan , ko phipi and ko samui.

Did you read the notice? It's a mourning period, there won't be any parties in Thailand in October.

actually it wont be all oct, nor will all bars close
expect things will be quiet from the 13th ( 1 year from when he died) till the 29th when the funeral rights/ceremony are finished.
With the actual cremation on the 26th.
would imagine 25th-29th bars will not serve and no loud music, parties, anything

About turn. According to this, the full moon party on Koh Phangan will take place after all.
Presumably there will be too much income loss for the locals if it is cancelled.
