when would you pull your plug
Re: when would you pull your plug
Probably better than the 'china white' way. I don't know much about it, but when talking to a doctor here about it as a method of suicide, he strongly recommended against it saying its not like on TV, and can be a rather nasty way to go, including vomiting, choking, convulsing and such. But like I say, don't know much about it.StroppyChops wrote:Apparently the local inadvertent way is the new "in" thing in the west. Helium or NO2 canister, face mask, slow flow, off you go.

I will never give up. I have decided, should I ever in my dangerous activities lose a leg or something, I would continue on as a programmer, IT admin or something.
Honestly, even if I lost my nads, I'd be ok. I have found there are comparable highs to just sex. Conquest, intellectual pursuits, etc. Sex is fun, but often comes with problems or attachments.
Only if my brain went, and there were no possibility in the next 10 years of return ... Maybe then. Suicide is giving up, and giving up on yourself is a sin ...

When Viagra stops working, you move on to the next product. In that case it would be Bremalanotide, commonly called PT141 . Do your own search.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Had a fascinating theological debate with a minister recently that Jesus committed suicide by not preventing his own crucifixion - allowing yourself to be killed without resisting is akin to suicide. Kinda has merit...Sir_Quality_U_Feel wrote:yeah, that's not weird.HotRecruiter wrote:Suicide is giving up, and giving up on yourself is a sin ...

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Re: when would you pull your plug
I will give up when my life seems to be like summer reruns complete with the "been there, done that"tee shirt. By which I mean that life holds no more surprises for me or that I have nothing more to learn. Physical disability is a drag, but I spent over 40 years of my life perfecting body skills in karate and boxing, so pain is not unknown to me. I am now 70 and have watched my body cast off or disable organs and body parts it feels it no longer needs as I trudge down the path of life.
Fortunately living in rural Cambodia always seems to have something new to teach me every day whether language skills or gossip or a long list of whatevers. Also, I married late in life and will not check out until my two kids, 11 & 12 have mastered English to a degree that will help ensure their future. Further, I will leave only when I know beyond a doubt that my wife has the minimal financial security required. Oh, and I promise not to leave a mess and having fulfilled the above, to leave with a smile. Damn, it's been great even if I tried to make it hard!. Otherwise, if I have no say so over the decision, my soul is packed, I'm ready to go.

As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
