TOF has always been cliquey. During kir's time, I was permabanned twice by other mods, without his knowledge or approval. The first time was for posting a critical review of the Garage Bar and the second was for criticising the policy of allowing advertisers to post daily business promotions, while permabanning Stiff Little Punks singer Ian for posting about coming gigs. In both cases, kir lifted the ban after being informed. Kir was abrasive and confrontational, but I preferred the forum when he ran it.
Scobienz came across at first as very fair and reasonable. However, it became obvious to me that he allowed his business ethos and political conservatism to sway his judgements. Posters were banned because he hated their views, not their style, especially in the case of Vlad's anti-Zionism.He couldn't accept criticism of sleazy business practices, as anything that made a buck was fine by him.
I hope things improve under the new management, but I seriously doubt it.

why don't you guys leave your historic fights for the other place where they originated?
