Absolutely. So, if the Phnom Penh Post have paid their taxes, what excuse will the PM use to close it?
See crook!!!
Re: Democracy in Cambodia
When his term is secured once again for the term of PM. Things will relax once again. It's all about power and monies.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

dont ya mean the big mans dictatorship?
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Re: Democracy in Cambodia
Thailand-based expats are automatically excluded from discussions on Cambodia's democracy. Your 50+ coups, military junta and crazy jail sentences for anyone discussing the monarchy in less than flattering tones speak louder than mere words.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Yet... we are not so far behind. Cambodia is advancing in leaps and bounds. Try posting some unflattering words about Cambodia's pseudo-royal family on social media and then get back to us on that.

I think you would get away with unflattering words. Downright lies are what get them riled, and rightly so.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
