Experienced Tourism / Trainer / Manager / Marketer Available

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

Experienced Tourism / Trainer / Manager / Marketer Available

Post by malcolm.green »

I am a (now) single, mature, business marketer with extensive experience (25 years) in developing & managing innovative products primarily in the international tourism markets of Southeast Asia. Projects have included new hospitality resorts & hotels, property development and travel / tourism products.
This has involved brand and product development, print media campaigns, establishing online social media channels and general communications plus staff training, where my specialty is training for cultural heritage tourism / tour guides & hospitality personnel.
In most instances I have worked in building and leading a small local team of professional marketing people focused on the required aspects of a campaign, including working with other sales people, HR staff, CRM data systems and company management executives.
Currently I am located in Vietnam but am interested in relocating back to Cambodia where I have previously worked as a tourism consultant for the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism, and other agencies. I am looking at winding down my operations inn Vietnam and wanting to get into tourism related activities in Cambodia. I am particularly interested in businesses who need marketing and/or operational guidance.
I am open to suggestions from existing business owners who want to develop further with hotels, guesthouses, adventure activities or similar. Low entry business partnerships, partial volunteer support services, or work-to-buy options may be considered. My expectations of investment and/or returns are negotiable and well within currently applicable Cambodian salary & benefits package levels.
Locations could be Kep, Kampot, offshore islands, Sihanoukville beaches, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon with your requirements and attractive offers.

No offence, but mentioning it is not so mature. I'd suggest you edit it out, and I'll remove my post.

It doesn't look good, and taints the rest of an otherwise good advert/appeal.

That would make you a widower, not single.

That would make you fucking, on your own! I guess that might just qualify as single! Cunt' s wife has died and you question his status? Sorry, I can't understand why this is important to you
But I'm just a fuckwit, so please, feel free to ignore this post.

"question his status"

Really? Where did I do that?

It's called 'being pedantic'. But who gives a rats? (Obviously you. I can't understand why this is important to you.)

To be pedantic, Im not a widower since partner and I were never married but together for over 7 years. Therefore I am without current partner, single again.
