Another Death on the Cambodian Railroad Tracks When a Cambodian Man Tries to Outrun a Train in Phnom Penh
CAMBODIA NEWS: A 29 year old man was killed in Phnom Penh when he was drunk and tried to outrun a train, tripped and fell, and landed on the tracks while drunk. He saw the train approaching and was going to get across the tracks before the train reached him, but there were some rocks on the track that tripped him up and he wasn't able to get up in time to escape his frightful fate.
This event happened at around 10:30pm and although the train conductor saw him on the tracks before running him over, he was unable to stop the train in time, and dragged the man 30 meters befre the train came to a stop. The victim's name is Ros Yim, and 29 year old man from from Takeo Province who had been working at a car dealership doing car washes. He was reportedly drinking at the time of the horrific accident and had crossed the train tracks to go and buy some rice, but didn't manage to complete the journey.

Playing chicken with a train is supposed to be running in front of it not into the side of it.
