But you did allow it at lucky? Or didn't you? I'm confused.

When you got to the front of the line did you ask the cashier what the queue jumper was buying and then scold her?

Re: Queue jumper at Lucky on Sihanouk
Lucky seems slow to catch on to the whole 'queue jumping is bad' thing. Not too long ago some uniformed goons were blocking an entire aisle because someone 'important' was shopping for toilet duck at the time. So f*ck any of us plebians who might need some washing powder right now - access denied.
Angkor mart and Natural Garden both stop queue jumping khmers on a regular basis, but at Lucky, you're on your own.

To queue, or not to queue?
That is congestion.

Sounds to me like you give him non-verbal permission to go ahead and be an asshole.nightmare.believer wrote:
I don't look at him, pretending that he isn't talking to me. But he kept asking, 4 or 5 times, continuously. She rings him up and he leaves.
LoL, yep.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:
If you're there you just need to show that it's unacceptable. No one EVER cuts in line in front of me. I don't allow it. Period.
A buddy and I had this same thing happen at Lucky a couple years back.
He walked up past the long line, put his bottles of water or yogurt on the counter in front of our shit, and we took it off the counter and threw it on the floor, LoL. He still didn't seem to completely understand the message, and we ended up kicking his shit across the floor.
He flashed a police ID or something, keeping his cool, and we just pointed him to the back of the line, calling him cha-loi (rude).
He just hung around while we laughed at his ID, we got checked out and he went to start collecting his shit.
Everyone kept cool and tried to act like nothing had happened, but you could tell they were all like, "Daaaaaaaamn! He got owned!"
We were half expecting a confrontation from a Lexus riding gang when we got outside.

Where in America if you get in line with 2 things behind someone with a basket full generally they just turn around and tell you to go on ahead of them instead of waiting. At least, in the experiences I've had. I'll refer you to LTOs thread for further information.

^ Agreed. Happens all the time in the States.
I've even had that happen here at Lucky with an Asian lady. Good on her.
