I see what you did there........StroppyChops wrote:I have to admit I was drinking Coke (a-Cola) when I first read that from KiR, it took me a while to get it out of my nostrils.

5 years might not qualified as a longtimer, but I really missed the good old day in Cambodia similar to some of the reasons Username Taken listed. Things were cheap, more places to see and hangout (in the countrysides), locals were more socialized and friendly (less attached to their electronic gadgets), less rude foreigners esp wealthy Asians....

First you give a vague answer "I have sent a PM to the K440 staff team and waiting on their feedback."supe wrote:You sent a PM to KIR? Because my question has to do with KIR. And if so, how long ago? And could you disclose the content of that PM?Joon wrote:I have sent a PM to the K440 staff team and waiting on their feedback. Enough?
(Normally I wouldn't ask about a PM but in this case it matters.)
Then you avoid my following questions like you did with my original question.
Let's just conclude you've tried to get away with it and leave it at that.

Actually, she's already voiced her concerns about DM getting banned for questionable reasons, so it's pretty obvious that's what the PM would be about.

Drop it, supe. I'm following my own and Garry's advice. I won't engage nor indulge you.

That's hilarious: "Garry's advice"! You really needed sound advice, didn't you?Joon wrote:Drop it, supe. I'm following my own and Garry's advice. I won't engage nor indulge you.
But deep down you know you were a coward regarding KiR. And you tried to get away with it.
So be it.

Agreed. There was some weird brainwashing of themselves. Someone would say they were angry they got heaps of abuse when they first joined and asked where to buy/ find something. But now they realize they deserved the abuse for asking a newbie question! WTF ! No noob deserves abuse anywhere, ever, for asking a question. The site / themselves had brainwashed them, and they now abused noobs as it was the right thing to do! They are waking up now lol, but some are taking longer than others and still can't see there was much wrong there.FreeSocrates! wrote:I suspect for the last few years that K440 existed purely on "pluralistic ignorance".
I think the existence of CEO and how quickly it sprang to life proves this.In social psychology, pluralistic ignorance is a situation in which a majority of group members privately reject a norm, but incorrectly assume that most others accept it, and therefore go along with it.
People are starting to see that "The Emperor wears no clothes", and are no longer willing to go along with it.
