You possibly missed the humour there...Cruisemonkey wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2017 6:02 pm
Not much - 5 or 6 hours 'detained', interrogated and a 30.000 baht fine (no receipt). If you don't have the 30,000... off to the 'klink' until you do (and raise it quickly because it goes up every day you don't pay).
Bodge: This ain't Kansas, and the neighbours ate Toto!

It's OK, it was probably the wurst pun I've ever penned.
For a moment there, I was in a roll.

Possibly, but most Customs/Quarantine officers are not known for their sense of humour. You're flying an Australian flag, you should know that. Ever seen a plane from China land at Kingsford Smith?
It's best not to rely on Thai incompetence.
You could be next.

Yeah no problems, I bring some foodstuffs with me every 5 months including sausages on occasion. I did get stopped once in Bangkok with a suitcase full of assorted goodies from the UK but as luck would have it they seemed to have a good laugh about the stupid farang bringing noodles to Thailand.
Yes sir, I can boogie, I can boogie, boogie, boogie all night long.
