planning to come in September for 3 months to Phnom Penh
Re: planning to come in September for 3 months to Phnom Penh
I did not know that John. I am on my extensions, and working. The immigration accompanied with the local police, and the relevant works department.
I did know they were coming and was told to have all my papers in order. I did not have a work permit. Now I have, and when you work out the cost over the year it is very little.

EG (General) EOS (as I explained in my first post).John Bingham wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2017 9:25 pm There's an option to get an ordinary/business visa on entry with the aim of looking for work, there is a specific designation like "ES" or something, and it gives you a limited amount of time like 6 months before you find work and then apply for a work permit. No idea how or if this works in principle.
ES is the student EOS.

wonder when the will set age and income for retirement extensions.?
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I was told the age was 60 by the visiting immigration from PP. This they told me was an option for me! But I am under that age, that only left me with the option of the tourist visa. But I have a small business so I have no problem with the work permit. Lets face it! If I was to work in many other countries I would need to acquire one.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2017 10:42 am wonder when the will set age and income for retirement extensions.?

Re: planning to come in September for 3 months to Phnom Penh
Sorry to hijack, so much varying information about.
What's the best visa so I can potentially come and go from Cambodia for a year? from what I've read it's a 1 year business visa.. or should I get a 90 day and then extend it as and when?
Sorry I take it this topic has been done to death, just don't want to turn up and then apply for the wrong thing.
EDIT - based on the post below, arrive for a business visa - 30 days @ 35dollar, then go to a place to extend it by 6m or 1y
