Cambodian Woman in Poipet Gets Blasted by Explosion Caused from Cooking Gas Canister

CAMBODIA NEWS: A 28-year old lady in the beautiful border town of Poipet was blasted by an exploding cooking gas canister when it exploded in the kitchen, causing injuries to her face, body and arms. Neighbors heard/saw the explosion and rushed over to put out the fire. The explosion reportedly happened when she tried switching from one canister to another, and then BOOM. Her husband was also injured, but not as bad, as he wasn't in the kitchen. She was taken to a clinic in a Lexus, and although dinner was called off, she'll hopefully be feeling well enough to have breakfast ready tomorrow morning.

They are not exactly sure what caused the explosion, but they assume it was negligence on her behalf while switching canisters. While it might look like she was just caking on white makeup to get ready for a Khmer wedding, they covered in some sort of white foam, which presumably is helped to treat her burns.

Oh, that's fire extinguisher foam. From six of them, from my count. I was like, WTF, was it a giant canister of shaving foam that exploded. She looks pretty chill for a burns victim, I'm suspecting this story is lacking in details. Like how you can change the regulator on those big tanks whilst the hob is still burning. Usually it's from sticking too large a pot on the portable hob, the flames rolling back over the gas canister. Is the brown scuzz on the wall brown scuzz or burn marks?

She is not covered in powder from a fire extinguisher unless she decided just to change her clothes and not remove her new 'white look'.

What exactly is that shit? I really don't know.

It's a special spray on stuff , I forget the name, that is designed for burns . I used cans and cans of it when my kids mother was burn with a exploding canister about 6 years ago. In fact the stuff is so good she ended up with not one scar on her body.

You can see a can of it beside her purse in the very first photo.
