Beggar Removals

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Beggar Removals

Post by Duncan »

Well firstly I have to say thank-you to Jamie for his advice and online lessons in ''How To pull in the Chicks '' that I managed to convince two super-chicks to come with me for a few days stay in Chinaville / Casinoville.
We were one street back from the beach having a meal at Happy Pizza when a young 20 plus something ? professional beggar was doing his rounds at all the tables. Not have money buy rice. By the time he got to my table my blood was boiling so I stood up , grabbed a bottle of tomato sauce , removed the top and held it up high to pour some over his head. He gave out a yelp and backed off ten feet, but I followd him right out to the roadside.
Can't understand why the 30 plus dinners were looking at me but I did get one round of applause from one couple and a big smile from the female waitress.
Spoiler:
Jamies advice and online lessons were working .
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Wow Jamie you must have been posting some pwerful advice lately. OP once accused me of forum rage, but I never knew table rage with ketchup could have such powerful aphrodisiacal side effects. Probably only works with "super-chicks" in happy pizza places in Shitsville.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

I don't get that. Why was your blood boiling? I was in Europe last year and there are loads of persistent junkie and gypsy beggars there, always trying to spin you some boring spiel about hostels and cups of tea.
Nearly all of them are on social-welfare and get a huge amount of benefits while being absolutely useless at anything except being a nuisance, robbing and stabbing people.
I don't get bothered by the beggars here, in the neighborhood we just get genuinely poor beggars. Amputees, blind, unwanted old people from the boonies. There are some very sketchy ones about too though, the really dirty-looking ones are usually fucked up on glue/ heroin/ meth.

They don't offer anything, they just need cups of tea and hostels, and absolutely would never spend the money on smack or anything like that.

Why Bingham it sounds like you have had experience from the other side of the fence.
However, i do agree with you asx far as the beggars here go. It's only really a problem at riverside for me. You get mutants shipped in to drip leprosy or wobble growths in front of you while you're trying to eat your breakfast.
See crook!!!
