Second Takeo marijuana crackdown this week nets 14,626 plants

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

Legalizing and taxing it would bring in enough revenue that Cambodia would no longer be a third world country. Well, if they spent the money wisely.

I knew I would find the chuckle of the day if I stayed long enough. :hattip:

I agree Africa holds a lot of value for the brits and yanks, which is why they have been kept down and marginalized for decades, but are you saying that 10 million to some Africans is going to motivate them to kill all of the pot growers in the world?

Trying to understand your statement.

+2; which is why I included the sentence: Well if they spent the money wisely.

You have to admit the legalization would be a boon for tourism, not to mention the tax aspect. The Cambodian Cannabis Cup has a nice ring to it!

$10 million buys the requisite legislation to outlaw pot.

No killing needed.
