Beheading of an Asian Recently by Extremists? (Philippines Maybe)

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Beheading of an Asian Recently by Extremists? (Philippines Maybe)

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

I just saw a video of brutal beheading of an Asian man. Looked to be in the countryside. While they didn't sound Cambodian, it looked like any countryside in South East Asia. It was also from a Khmer Facebook account.

News about this anywhere? Maybe it's old.

Scary stuff. Such radicialism is rare but not unheard of in the Philippines. They are very violent in the South but I don't recall reading about many ISIS-style beheading videos from there. It would be more surprising if the video is out of Indonesia and totally shocking if it had anything to do with Cambodia or even the south of Thailand or Malaysia.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fairly common in Southern Philippines, the Muslim militants do it to captured soldiers in Jolo every few years or so.

The French were still beheading people in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam in the fifties. Often forgotten an all the hoo ha over radical Moslems. Most victims would have been political prisoners, the bastards wanted their countries back.

That was the Foreign Legion. They had ze German accents. We refused to support them - no air cover - because they were Nazis. Whilst we ran the Japanese army, the best soldiers in the world. They did exactly what you told them to do.

Something very different in the methods. Beheading by an expedient method, as opposed to simply slowly hacking off the upper bit with whatever knife is handy.* Hardly comparable...

*even the video nasties demonstrating alternate uses of det' cord clearly show the complete lack of humanity of these animals.
