Hard facts:

The current orientation price is $70.000 which is negotiable. The price excludes the lease ($1.000 per month), as well as a deposit equalling 6 month of the rental price.

There is 5 years left on the lease, which is always extendable.

The Flicks locations include the original The Flicks 1 on Street 95 (seating 32), 11 Happy Flicks 2 on Street 136 (inside the 11 Happy Backpackers Hotel, seating 16) and The Flicks 3 on Street 258 (seating 30; currently closed).

You get three movie theatres with everything that comes with it, meaning:

*brand name
*existing customer base
*established supplier base
*every equipment there is and that you will need (think movie rooms, popcorn machines, bars and lounges for customers to hang out before and after the movies, AC, cash register, etc.)

So everything is basically all set.

The movie-houses are currently all run by volunteers which means you have no additional costs for staff, if you decide to continue with that employment-model.

No, it wasn't sold yet, since the owner is picky about whom to give it to. It's not gonna be sold to anyone who doesn't have the right mindset and values in order to keep running it the successful place it is today.

Do The Flicks buy the rights for the movies screened? What's the process for a prospective buyer? Will you provide him/her with the necessary contacts to continue doing so?

Their previous sale thread (here or 440, ot dung) detailed copyright and licensing issues iirc.

Something along the lines of 'as long as the cinemas aren't showing it, fair game'.
