Some comments about this video on Facebook, and I don't know why, but the first one cracks me up:

"They take my money take my passport take my past tense.

He is a junkie, walks past my house once a week, use to give him money, then when changed to food, he refused it."

When we take visitors from overseas out to the zoo (which, admittedly, has lost it's charm for us) we prepare for Beggars Lane by making up bags of rice for the visitors to give to the beggars, and then we tell them to watch the responses they get as they hand them out. Instant lesson in responding to poverty in the developing world.

we threw a raw few raw chicken in there for em.

how was the beggers response?

when i gave em 2000 riel and some bananas they didnt like that.

Maybe next time you could try throwing a few chickens at the old ladies and a few bananas at the bears?
