SHV bar broken into through the extractor fan: be warned.
Night before last, the Maybe Later bar in Sihanoukville was broken into by thieves who got in by removing the extractor fan which was presumably in the kitchen.
This was posted on social media as a warning to other businesses, but it could also apply to your home. It would be interesting to know the size of their extractor vent.
So, be aware and take your precautions. Passing this on as a public service announcement with thanks to the OP.

the thiefy types can easily break open steal err steel bars over windows etc have seen the results more than once....
guessed they used a long lump of wood to pry the crappy welds apart - on steel tubes ..just tack welded....you'd really have to use solid bar and fully weld each joint to be a secure as possible

I got burgled 3 times in Ha Noi, the thieves used a car jack to pend apart the steel bars.

Steal bars! Steal Bar would be a good name for a hostess bar that pads the bills.
